This meeting room is tucked away in the back corner of the third floor (dog-friendly floor). It is a great spot if you are looking for a more intimate, quiet meeting space. Perfect for interviews, video conferences small team meetings.

Meeting Room Details

We want to be sure you have everything you need for your meeting. The essential details are below or you can read through our full technical specifications.

Technical Specifications

 

Each Meeting Room comes stocked with:

  • Chairs and tables (free)
  • Conference phone (free)
  • Guest WiFi (free)

You can also book:

  • Flipchart and markers (free)
  • Projector ($25 for less than 4 hours, or $50 for more than 4 hours; free for co-tenants)

If you book a flipchart or projector, you will be told where to find it (after-hours bookings only). If equipment is not returned, you will be charged the replacement value of each unreturned item.

Our kitchen:
Innovation Works has non-commercial kitchens which you are encouraged to take advantage of. The rule is, clean what you use (dishwashers on-site).

Should you decide to have your meeting catered, please ask the caterer to avoid bringing disposables and use our dishware – we are doing our best to be a zero waste facility and greatly appreciate your help!

If you'd like to make use of these amenities, please speak to an Innovation Works staff member upon arrival to be given a short orientation. If you’ve booked a space outside of business hours we will go over this in person when you come to pick up your Event Pass to access the space.

 


 

Booking Policies

We’ve included some details here about accessing the space outside of business hours and on weekends, where to find your equipment, and how you will be invoiced. For the full picture read our Booking Policy.

Booking Policy

 

Cancellations:
We require 3 business days to cancel your Meeting Room booking. Where 3 or more business days notice are not given, the full amount will be charged. To cancel your booking, call Innovation Works at 519-433-7876.

After-Hours Access:
Please note that if your booking is not within Innovation Works’ operating hours, you must pick up an Event Pass in advance, during regular business hours.

You will be asked to sign a release form and given a mini orientation by an Innovation Works staff member or volunteer.

There is a $75 charge for unreturned Event Passes. There is a charge of $50 in the case that a room is left unclean or damaged.

You will return the Event Pass in the designated key return box, shown to you when you sign out the key.

Invoicing:
You will be sent an electronic invoice at the beginning of every month for all of your bookings from the previous month. The invoice will be sent to the administrative contact listed in your Booking Profile.

Your rental fee, including HST, is payable by cheque or credit card to Pillar Nonprofit Network.

Please note your meeting date and room name on your cheque!
